Tennis at Melbourne Park

Kersti and I have been playing a lot of tennis recently as members of the Melbourne Uni Tennis Club. We have been able to play a lot of mixed doubles competitions, which make it fun to play together, and we have met a lot of really great people. We have signed up for a weekend league, which should prove interesting when it gets hotter as the matches are from 1-4!

Friday night, the club rented out Melbourne Park for the evening. This is where they play the Australian Open, which we went to last year and had a great time. It was really exciting to get a chance to play on the courts, including a show court with the stands around us. It was a very different surface, which took some getting used to, and was a really neat experience.
