We had a fantastic Christmas with my mother and sisters... they were here for two weeks and we had tons of fun... I think we wore them down to the bone by packing in the activities and prohibiting sleep. We stayed in the Melbourne area for a bit longer then a week, then flew to Tasmania for 4 days. They had terribly weather, but I think we all had a good time, nonetheless. At least they avoided the heat that came the day after they left!

I must warn you, we took 1500 pictures (1000+ by my mother) and I only narrowed it down to 264 or so... so settle in or skim like mad :)

We hate flies... but this is how to beat them... You just have to be strong enough.
Christmas Eve! We had lots of swedish food... though of course not all of our favorites. Ham, Potatis, Lingon, Sill, Bullar, Pepparkakor, Knack and Ost!
Holding a Wombat... the little guy was 6 months old and was raised as an orphan by the zoo keeper. It was found as a baby... in the pouch of his mother who had been killed by a car!
This Roo loved billy... and was especially pleased by his ability to scratch his belly and neck
