Well, the wedding has come and gone, so now we can focus on packing! Preparing for our imminent departure is a daunting task. We hope to pack up quickly and minimize errand running so that we can spend time with family and friends. Billy is nearly done with his thesis, so once that is finished, we will breathe a big sigh of relief (and congratulate him, of course!)
Here are our immediate plans, in case you are curious....
Monday, Feb 5: 8:30am flight from SFO to Honolulu (one night stay in Waikiki)
Tuesday, Feb 6: 12:00pm flight from Honolulu to Sydney (one night stay in Sydney)
Thursday, Feb 8: Depart Sydney for Melbourne by car... We'll meander down the coastline and enjoy the summer sun.
Feb 13 or 14th: Arrive in Melbourne - move into our apartment
Thursday, Feb 15: Kersti's orientation begins
